English below ☟
“Practice is the repetition of an action with the goal of improvement, and it helps us perform with more ease, speed and confidence.”
I denne video bliver du bl.a. klogere på:
“Effective practice is the best way we have of pushing our individual limits, achieving new heights and maximizing our potential.”
Ha’ en rigtig dejlig uge!
What happens in our brain when we practice?
“Practice is the repetition of an action with the goal of improvement, and it helps us perform with more ease, speed and confidence.”
Mastering any physical skill takes practice, whether it is throwing a ball, painting or playing an instrument. You have to practice in order to make it work and to be good at it. Today, we will look a bit deeper into what actually happens in our brain when we practice.
I have found a TED-video made by Dr. Don Greene, a peak performance psychologist, and Annie Bosler, a freelance musician in Los Angeles. It only takes 4:49 minutes, but it has some interesting points.
In this video below, you can learn about those things:
… what does practice do to our brains?
… do our muscles actually have memory?
… how many hours do I have to practice before I master a skill?
… what is efficient practice?
… how can we get the most out of our practice time?
… does mental practice actually make any difference?
Now, it is your time to practice how to practice ? And remember:
“Effective practice is the best way we have of pushing our individual limits, achieving new heights and maximizing our potential.”
Have a nice week!
